Portageville Jr. Beta students earn awards

The Portageville School District sent members of the Junior Beta Club to the state convention on December 4-5. The convention was held at University Plaza Hotel and Springfield Expo Center. Approximately 43 Portageville Junior High students participated with many bringing home awards. Many of these students will be eligible to attend the National Convention held next summer. On Monday, the school recognized the students for their accomplishments.
