"God's Plan For Our Lives"

Philosophers throughout the ages have wrestled with two very basic questions. The first generally has to do with: How did I get here. Once their first position has been established, they ask: What is the purpose of life. If you spent much time at all reading their thoughts and conclusions, you come to the realization that nearly every one of those considered to be among the great thinkers of their day widely missed the reality of what they probed. Their common fault lies in their starting premise--themselves, man. Philosophers has approached their questions as if mankind in general, and themselves more specifically, are the centers of the moral universe. Paul's axiom has proven correct: When I was as unbelieving student searching, I read the philosophers in search of finding truth. When I became a disciple I way aside the philosophers and began to read the prophets. That one act has reoriented my thinking, and as a result, has changed the direction of my life.
