Every four years, Missouri conducts a series of local caucuses culminating in Congressional District and State Conventions. County communities play a crucial role in this process. Counties parties are responsible for selecting the local caucus location, organizing caucus registration and running the early stages of the caucus. Members of the New madrid County Republican Committee met last Thursday in the County Courthouse to elect new board members, and to discuss caucus procedures. The New Madrid County Caucus will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 10:00 a.m. in the New Madrid County Courthouse. New Madrid County is allowed six delegates and will go to the Congressional District convention on Saturday, April 30th. It is vitally important that all or as many Republicans of New Madrid County attend this meeting to help select the six delegates.
