PHS Beta Club Host Halloween Costume Contest

PHS Senior Beta Club hosted a Halloween Costume Contest on Tuesday, October 31. For a $10 donation to R.A.I.N. Food Pantry, students were allowed to wear Halloween costumes to school and were judged on the following: Funniest/Punniest, Laziest/Ugliest, Best Character (TV, Movie, Literary, Cartoon), Best Overall Individual Costume, and Best Group Costumes. Teachers also participated and were judged by Beta Club Officers. The winner for the funniest costume was Hannah Thacker for her “Hanzar the Great” fortune teller costume. The winner for the laziest costume was Mason Prislovsky as P. Diddy. The best character costume award went to Abby Johnston as Bob Ross. The best overall individual costume award went to Peyton Bullock as Alfalfa. The winners for the best group costumes were Dasmine Johnson and Selinah Taylor as old ladies and Jauslyn Johnson as a “Life Alert” button. Finally, the winner of the best costume for teachers was Mrs. Crissy Saenz as a unicorn. PHS Beta Club raised $800 for R.A.I.N. Food Pantry.
