Seedings released for Bloomfield Christmas Tournament

The seedings are set for the highly anticipated Bloomfield Christmas Tournament.

The 16-team event takes place Dec. 26-29 at Bloomfield High School.

Defending champion Dexter has received the top seed. Dexter is slated to take on No. 16 seeded Richland in a first round contest Dec. 26 at 10 a.m.

Other first round games on are: No. 2 seeded Hayti vs. No. 15 seeded Holcomb Dec. 26 at 11:15 a.m., No. 3 seeded Bernie vs. No. 14 seeded Gideon Dec. 26 at 12:30 p.m., No. 4 seeded Malden vs. No. 13 seeded Twin Rivers Dec. 26 at 2 p.m., No. 5 seeded East Prairie vs. No. 12 seeded Van Buren Dec. 26 at 3:30 p.m., No. 6 seeded Doniphan vs. No. 11 seeded Puxico Dec. 26 at 5 p.m., No. 7 seeded Portageville vs. No. 10 seeded Bloomfield Dec. 26 at 6:30 p.m. and No. 8 seeded South Pemiscot vs. No. 9 seeded Kennett Dec. 26 at 8 p.m.

Quarterfinals are Dec. 27, semifinals are Dec. 28 and championship round games are Dec. 29.
