Hazel LeSieur-Robinson, 84, of Shell Point, Fla., died January 7, 2018 at home with her loved ones. She was born July 5, 1933 in Portageville, Missouri. She was a lifetime Educator, after receiving her PhD. Hazel worked 30 years at New Madrid County School System, as a Teacher and Administrator. After retirement, when the opportunity presented itself, she continued to teach people language and grammar. She lived in Oyster Bay, Fla. prior to moving in with her daughter at Shell Point. She enjoyed yard work, flowers, cooking, (which she was very good at all 3) and camping. Hazel was "full of Life" and enjoyed people. She had three furry companions, Maggie, Britches & Henry A. Yorkie and she loved them dearly. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter Donna LeSieur, her caregivers Josephine Adams that has been by her side for seven years, Leann Moody, Wanda Rogers, Tammy Jean Nichols and Tina Altman; many friends that will miss her; nieces and nephews, Beth Fowler, Robert Fowler and Lydia Fowler of New Madrid, Mo., Clyde Lesieur of Pearlington, La., Kenneth LeSieur of Slidell, La., Joe LeSieur of Mandeville, La., Martin LeSieur and Ann Beasley of Baton Rouge, La.; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 13, 2018, 5:30 pm at Family Funeral Home in Crawfordville, Fla.
