Mildred Pearrell

NEW MADRID, Mo. — Mildred Jane Pearrell, 84, died March 2, 2019, at the New Madrid Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 11, 1934, in Frankclay, Mo., daughter of the late Henry O. and Bertha E. Whaley Compton, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Madrid.

Survivors include four sons, Jerrold Jones of Pensacola, Fla., Jeffrey Jones of Park City, Utah, Scott Jones of Fairview, Ore., and Joel Jones of Portland, Ore.; and one brother, Carroll and Dianne Compton of Murray, Ky.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 a.m. March 22 at Leadwood Protestant Cemetery in Leadwood, Mo.

Richards Funeral Home in New Madrid is in charge of arrangements.
