Portageville - Now that the smokes has cleared from the Community Day fireworks, event results of the are are as follows.

The 2019 July 4th Queen is Railey Bradfield of Portageville.

The Junior Miss Queen is Emily Hairston, First Alternate is Julianna Nobel, Second Alternate is Ashlyn Swilley.

In the Pre-Teen Miss Category, the Queen is Chloe Brown, First Alternate is Olivia Rebstock, and Second Alternate is Chloe Coronado.

The Petite Miss Queen is Kaydence McMillen.

In the Little Miss category, the Queen is Jaycee Burgess, First Alternate is Jessica Renee, and Cayda Cluck is the Second Alternate.

In the Tiny Miss category, the Queen is Shanley Wilburn, First Alternate is Jessica Renee and the Second Alternate is Maggie Davis.

For the Tiny Mister category, the King is Bricen Edwards, First Alternate is Axel Mcphail, and the Second Alternate is Ja’mir Porter.

The winners on the Baby Photo Contest are: 0-12 Months-Joseline Cameron, and in 13-24 Months -John Hunter Shelly.

The winners in the Portageville’s Got Talent Contest are, Olivia Walker, First Place; Kaniah and Zarriyah Jennings, Second Place;

and Ema Fisk, Third Place.

The winners in the Yardpong Tournament are David Womack and Lester Vanausdall.

The winner in the Watermelon Eating Contest was Brooklyn Linville.

Winning in the Cornhole Tournament was Charles Waynick and John D. Waynick.

“We would like to thank everyone especially our sponsors, without them we would not be able to put on Community Day,” said Lester Vannasdall of the Portageville Jaycees. “With all the other events that was going on in southeast Missouri at the same time we are really pleased that it turned out as good as it did.”

Besides the fireworks show, several of the towns residence came to hear three young local singers perform prior to the John Dunn Band. Olivia Walker and Double Take aka Will and Wyatt Stinnett.

The winner in the Watermelon Eating Contest was Brooklyn Linville.
