Lady Bulldog Basketball Senior Night 2019

Dasmine Gabrielle Johnson is the daughter of Deliah and Jerry Lintner and the granddaughter of Mable Nelson. Dasmine has one sister Jauslyn and three brothers, Jameson, Desmond, and Treavis.

Last Thursday night, three Portageville Lady Bulldogs were honored on Senior Night. It was the last home game of the regular season. The Lady Bulldogs hosted Lady Eagles of East Prairie. The three girls were honored for all the time, hard work, and dedication that they have put in over the years.

The First Senior is Miss Dasmine Gabrielle Johnson. She is the daughter of Deliah and Jerry Lintner and the granddaughter of Mable Nelson. Dasmine has one sister Jauslyn and three brothers, Jameson, Desmond, and Treavis.

The second Senior is Miss Selinah Taylor. She is the daughter of Jessica and Jackie Townsend and Steven Taylor. She is the granddaughter of Darleen Taylor, LJ Moore, Veronica Quick, David Miller, and Steven Booker. Selinah has six brothers, Treyshaun and Shane Townsend, Elijah Taylor, Lamarkus Guest, and Steven Jr and Martin Taylor.

Selinah Taylor is the daughter of Jessica and Jackie Townsend and Steven Taylor. She is the granddaughter of Darleen Taylor, LJ Moore, Veronica Quick, David Miller, and Steven Booker. Selinah has six brothers, Treyshaun and Shane Townsend, Elijah Taylor, Lamarkus Guest, and Steven Jr and Martin Taylor.

 

The last Senior is Miss Stankia Matlock. She is the daughter of Tonya Ray and Tony Perkins. She has one brother Issac Ray. Stankia has been our basketball manager for the past four years. She has done everything from washing uniforms and running the clock to carrying equipment and filming the games for us. She is at every practice and game and has been as much a part of the team the players.

"A lot of time, effort, blood, sweat, and tears have been sacrificed by each of you in order to make our teams the best they could be. You have each been great examples of what it truly means to be a Lady Bulldog on and off the court. We would like to wish you all good luck in your futures. We will miss you next season," said head coach Kellye Fowler.

"We would also like to thank you, Parents, for sharing your kids with us. Thanks for being our biggest fans and supporters! We know each of you has also made many sacrifices for our programs and we appreciate it more than you know," she concluded.
