First State Community Bank to offer $1000.00 SCHOLARSHIP
First State Community Bank (FSCB) is awarding a $1000.00 scholarship to a 2018 PHS graduate. Applications may be picked up at FSCB, 801 Highway 61 North, Portageville or from the high school counselor, Lisa Day. All applications should be returned to Mrs. Day by March 22.
Bank of New Madrid McCrate Memorial Scholarship
Applications are currently being taken for the Joseph E. and Harriette H. McCrate Memorial Scholarship offered to a Portageville High School graduate from The Bank of New Madrid. To be eligible for the scholarship, graduates must have a high proficiency in scholarship, citizenship and moral and ethical conduct. The deadline for the application is April 6, 2018. To find out more information about the scholarship, contact the High School Counselor, Lisa Day.
