SIKESTON - A "medical issue" apparently led to the death of a driver, whose truck was discovered in a field near Sikeston. At approximately 7:30 a.m. March 23, Sikeston Department of Public Safety officers responded to what appeared to be a motor vehicle accident near State Highway HH and North Ingram Road. When does the definition of a county gravel road change to a county dirt road? When you live in a place for 20 years and you never see any gravel added to your road and all the gravel is washed away, it's a dirt road. This is in New Madrid County. I know there are a lot of roads bad because of the snow and the rain, but I've lived in the same area for years and have just seen gravel put out in patches.
