Progress for the Bootheel Region!

This week I had the opportunity to support the Bootheel by helping to pass House Bill 2689 out of the House. HB 2689 would enable Noranda aluminum smelter to receive a sustainable power rate. This is a critical step to restarting the smelter's pot lines and getting people back to work. Without a competitive and sustainable power rate it is very unlikely the smelter will ever produce another pound of aluminum...
