Robert Edward "Bob" McCrate was born December 31, 1937 to Joseph E. McCrate and Zelline Hobbs McCrate in Cape Girardeau. Robert graduated from the University of Dayton in 1959 with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, and he worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and as a farmer in Southern Illinois for several years. He later worked as Shop Foreman for McCrate Equipment before founding Delta Data System, an accounting and inventory control software firm...
