Warriors Baseball signs Missouri's Riley Cain

INA, Ill. - It was during his visit to Rend Lake College's Ina campus this morning that Riley Cain of Steele, Mo. made the decision to play for the RLC Warriors Baseball team this fall. Last spring, Cain finished his senior year as shortstop with the South Pemiscot High School Bulldogs, where he hit .548, including five home-runs and 18 RBIs with 32 runs scored. As a pitcher, he also went 5-1 with a 1.92 ERA. In May, Cain was named the Bootheel Conference Player of the Year...

The Southeast Missouri Swim Conference held its championships on Saturday, July 15, at the Cape Central Pool. Eleven teams from Farmington down to Kennett participated in the huge event. There were over 400 swimmers competing for medals and trophies. Beau-Hunter Warren was named the top male swimmer in the 11-12 age group with all first place wins!! Max Warren received 3rd placed in the 9-10 age group with all 2nd place finishes!! Beau and Max are members of the Cape County Castaways, who were also named the Small Team SMSC Conference Champs.. ...
